What is the Brief Strategic Therapy?
Brief Strategic Therapy is a model of psychotherapy that can solve complicated problems and disorders in a short number of session (usually less then 20 sessions; most of the time a great improvement is reached during the first 10).
This thank to specific techniques and strategies developed for every class of disorders.
This therapy is known as one of the best practice in the treatment of anxiety, eating disorders, phobias and OCD, with this diseases it has the 95% of effectiveness. It is effective in the 89% of the treated cases with other disorders.
The goal of therapy is to change the person’s reality perception, making them acquire a more functional one and allow them to feel good with themselves, with others and with the world.
To do this we also use prescriptions, homeworks that the person will have to implement on his own, small therapeutic experiments that will allow him to build his new way of perceiving and acting in reality.
